LEISURE industry companies were looking for canalside sites for a major leisure complex after a marketing campaign for the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Corridor. Trusthouse Forte was seeking sites in Blackburn and Burnley and developers were considering plans for a winter sports scheme at the former Huncoat Power Station.
