SOME time ago, you printed a photograph of a gentleman and his dog, a German schnauzer, on the moorlands. It was a great shot.

I wrote to him, but my letter was returned to me marked 'insufficient address.' Can you help?

We often read the Lancashire Evening Telegraph as it is a lifeline that keeps us in touch with Darwen. But New Zealand does not have anything like your readers constructing local poetry.

DOUGLAS HAMILTON, Eastbourne, Wellington, New Zealand.

Footnote: All that was missing from the address Mr Hamilton was the house number - which we managed to trace in minutes. Surely, the post office could have done the same. We have forwarded the letter - and hope it gets there. Editor
