AS I predicted, (Letters, February 4) Brian Foster, has now had his reappointment as chairman of Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale NHS Trust confirmed.
Those who will be aware of attempts within the Labour party to firstly prevent his reappointment, then settle for delaying it as long as possible, with the second prize of another Labour party nominee being appointed as executive director, should whenever and wherever possible emphasise that this disgraceful conduct is limited to a few Labour Party "grandees" whose own agenda supersedes the best interests of the general public.
The Labour Party, in Burnley, do not support such devious actions - do they?
