LANCASHIRE County Council wants to close Whiteacre home for the elderly in Burnley and five other homes to save money.
But when it becomes too much for the residents, they may not be around as they will not be able to cope with a move.
To do care work, you have to have a strong stomach as well as being a good carer and also an NVQ certificate gained at college would be an advantage. But after all this, their wages are less than a cleaner's.
The nurses have it bad and carers do as well. Why?
