GRANADA TV newshound Paul Crone helped celebrity chefs Paul Heathcote and Dai Davies cook up a treat at Asda's Clayton Green store.
Filmed by a Granada TV camera crew, the culinary duo, pictured with Paul, egg-celled when they were given the challenge to raise cash for Comic Relief.
The fund-raising quest was a cross between Supermarket Sweep and Ready, Steady, Cook. The chefs were given a set amount of time to gather ingredients for their dish, then cook it.
The event was staged in preparation for Comic Relief Day on March 12.
