YOUNGSTERS from schools across Blackpool have been making a splash in the swimming world.
Points made prizes for those competing in the annual Blackpool Primary Schools Swimming Association annual gala.
Held at Moor Park and St George's pools, the event featured 19 schools during two days with Bispham Endowed earning first place in the major schools section and Our Lady RC in the minor schools section.
Relays and individual races allowed the teams to pick up various certificates and trophies along the way with Moor Park Juniors and St Bernadette's RC taking honours in the mixed medley relays.
There was even a broken record by Our Lady School in the girls' Year 5 relay.
