It was a position they never recovered from.

They did enjoy a 15-minute purple patch, but it didn't last.

The Colliers Arms, Kings Moss, man of the match was Mark Forber and he scored a great individual try which he also converted.

Also on form were Molyneux, Hull, Mather an Yelland.

Crusaders under 14s 16 Wigan St Pats 12

Crusaders showed great spirit and self discipline to take the points in a game full of controversial decisions. Try scorers for Crusaders were Alan Metcalfe (2), Ian Kenny and Dave Anders. Carl Forber, Tim Critchley and Keiron Maddocks also played well.

Crusaders under 12s 4 St Judes 12

This was an improved Crusaders effort, but their only try came from Ogden. Man of the match was Cunliffe, with Newall, McSpirritt and Stott also on form.

St Judes under 11s 4 Crusaders 30

This was an entertaining game in poor conditions. An excellent tackling display earned Mark Slinger the man of the match award. Tries were scored by Clark, Roughley, Lucas and Abbott with conversions added by Andy Stott. Crusaders under 10s 6 St Judes 12

Crusaders failed to impress against this well organised St Judes team.

Man of the match was Daniel Chantler, top tackler Craig Forster and coaches awards went to Alex McClurg and Tom Carsley. Trophies were sponsored by D C Cook Plumbing.

Folly Lane under eights 12 Crusaders 38

This was an excellent team display from the young Crusaders. Tries came form Chris Kinsey (3), Matt Harris (2), Matt Jackson and Carl Foster.
