THE town's schoolboy footballers scored a great double success. The under 11s team beat Kirkby 5-1 thanks to goals by Dempsey, Horton, Hale, McCracken and Smith.
And the under 11s B side beat South Liverpool 5-0. Scorers were Robinson (2), Bathurst, Doherty and Morris.
