FIRMS are being urged to go down Mexico way to find new business.

The East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce has invited a Mexican firm to meet local firms interested in supplying goods and services into the country.

The firm is offering to represent locally manufactured products including office furniture, chemicals, paint and resins, aerospace components and security products.

Representatives from the firm will be staying in East Lancashire between Monday and Wednesday inclusive.

Chamber officials are hoping to organise one-to-one meetings with the Mexican company.

The chamber is also playing host to a commercial officer from the British Consulate in Brazil on Tuesday. He is offering to meet local firms to discuss potential business opportunities.
