NATION-wide major ceramic tiles retailer Topps Tiles is continuing its local youth football support via sponsorship of Bispham-based Blackpool Rangers Girls football team.

The firm currently sponsor more than 60 teams from Edinburgh to Exeter and the Rangers deal has been set up by team manager Keith Semple in association with Carl Harrison, manager of Topps Tiles store at Kelso Avenue in Cleveleys.

The club's new yellow and blue strip with the sponsor's famous tile man logo will be worn by the newly-formed U12s girls squad who enter the Lancashire League this season.

With obvious enthusiasm for his new role as a youth football sponsor, Carl confirmed: "Topps is keen to give something back to the local community.

"We are all football fans and hope that the kids can really benefit from our direct investment.

Echoing these sentiments, Keith states: "It's good to see local firms getting involved in youth football.

"The grass roots game needs help from the business community to ensure youngster's interest and talents are developed effectively.

"Coming on to the pitch in new kit with a big name sponsor behind you is a terrific morale booster.

"We are looking forward to exciting times ahead in our association with Topps.
