TYLDESLEY swimmers added more medals to their giant haul at the latest Central Lancashire Age Groups.

They came away with 10 gold, four silver and a trio of bronze.

They were also overall winners in both the 12-Year and 14-Year groups.

Gold went to Kasha Hampson, 11, in the 100 and 200 freestyles (both PBs), Maria Hampson, 13, in the 200 butterfly (PB), Jessica Howarth, 14, in the 100 freestyle and 200 butterfly (both PBs), Khalid Jhugroo, 14, in the 200 breaststroke, butterfly and individual medley, Stephanie Thompson, 14, in the 200 breaststroke and Leanne Watmough, 15, in the 200 breaststroke.

Silvers went to Kelly Banner, 14 (200 backstroke, PB), Samantha Thompson, 12 (100 freestyle) and Leanne Watmough (100 freestyle, PB) in the age groups, with a silver also for Khalid Jhugroo in the open age 100 breaststroke.

James Gendall collected double bronze in the 200 individual medley (PB) and 200 freestyle, while Stephanie Thompson was third in the 200 backstroke.

Fourths: Kelly Banner, Andrew Hurst, Mark Hurst, Nicola Jones and Leanne Watmough.

Fifths: Maria Hampson, Jessica Howarth and Andrew Hurst.

Sixths: Laura Murphy, Michelle Greensmith, Sarah Wood, Maria Hampson and Samantha Greensmith.

Medal-winning finalists will represent Central Lancashire at the inter-association gala at Everton Pool in May with Tyldesley's Stuart Carlisle captaining the boys team.
