Let's put our thinking caps on - Colin Hendry was sold to Manchester City and then the Rovers bought him back, and everyone knows what a terrific job he did for us.
A while ago, Rovers sold one of the best defenders we've had for a long time - Chris Coleman, to Fulham.
Chris was voted Division Two player of the year. He is, without doubt, the lynchpin of Fulham's present success. And Kevin Keegan said he is without doubt the best signing he has ever made - and that includes his Newcastle signings.
Is it not possible for Rovers to make an offer?
