PARENTS were warned to be vigilant after a woman attempted to abduct two children from Meadow Head Infants School, Blackburn.
The woman called at the school two days running, asking for children by their Christian names. She almost succeeded in taking a five-year-old girl but was stopped by the child's eleven-year-old cousin who saw she was distressed.
