FORMER Leigh bookie and Leigh RLFC director Herbert Hulmes has died. He was 87.
Bert, of Endsleigh Gardens, was a well respected businessman and character about town.
He was married to the late Alma and will be sadly missed by relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at Leigh Parish Church on Monday, April 12, at 11.15am.
