SOUTH Ribble pensioners battled it out for a place in the regional finals of the Whitbread Senior Citizen Talent Contest.
Over 60s from all over the borough gathered at the council's West Paddock leisure services unit to reveal their artistic talents to judges.
Singers, such as 67-year-old Brian Frankland, pictured, comedians and entertainers from all walks of life competed for a chance to take to the stage in July's national final and win a big cash prize.
