SNOOKER and pool firm Riley is to sponsor a major international event.
The Burnley-based firm is backing the Riley International Pool Tour which has a prize fund of £20,000 and covers both men's and ladies' competitions.
Last year more than 100 entrants competed for the two titles.
"It is most important that there are many opportunities for the grass roots development of the game for players at all skills levels," said James Anderson, of Rileys.
"This tournament comprises a mixture of both amateur and professional players and therefore encourages entrants to test their skill against the top players in the game."
