I HAVE never written to a paper before but I have to agree with Citizen Smith in the April edition regarding the police.
The other night I witnessed an incident at Bare village club and I saw several police cars attend an incident to keep one club member from entering the premises. There was no trouble and no laws had been broken yet they were there "in force". They don't seem to have the staff or the time when burglars have turned your house over but as Citizen Smith says, do 80 on the motorway and they'll have you.
