THREE Leigh Good Samaritans are organising collections to ease the plight of the Kosovar refugees.

Linda Easton and Christine Gerrard, and their friend Janet Darwell have been saddened to see what is happening and decided to do something to help.

They are setting-up collection points at Leigh stores Sainsbury's and Asda; Warner Bros movie theatre and Asda store at Middlebrook Retail Park, Horwich; the Patagonia Cafe, Bolton and John Holt Youth Centre, Westhoughton.

Now they're asking YOU to help by donating individual toiletry items from soap to deodorants, A4 size plastic zip bags or ready zip-bagged selections. They want to send out kits for males, females and young children.

Said Linda: "We're helping London-based Kosovo Aid and DHL have agreed to transport supplies free to Albanian aid group Ulpiana."
