THERE was a blaze of colour and non-stop dancing at Silhouette Dance Club when the St Helens Star/Silhouette Dance Club Disco Dance competition took place.
This event (contestants and organisers seen above) at Boundary Road, was to raise money for ChildLine North West and a staggering £228 will be donated to this charity.
Rock and Roll and disco competitions took place throughout the day. Here are some of the Rock and Roll competition results;
Under Six: 1st - Sophie Cummings and Rachel Shield; 2nd - Tiffney Jo Critchley and Erin Luden; 3rd - Michelle Hamlett and Hannah O'Dell
Under 10s: 1st - Natalie Wilkingson and Jane Burke; 2nd - Liana Anders and Alison Shield; 4th - Lyndsey Brogan and Megan O Dowd; 6th - Sophie Skillings and partner.
Under 12s: 1st - Nichola Smith and Andrea Dennett; 2nd - Ashley and Clare Dingsdale; 3rd - Laura Hill and Marie Matthews; 4th - Samy Foran and Gemma Hull; 5th - Kelly Derbyshire and Lisa Musgrove
Under 14s: 1st - Laura and Hannah Halsall; 6th - Jessica Coville and partner.
Under 16s: 1st - Danielle Critchley and Vicky Davies;
Adults: 1st - Stacey Critchley and Vicky Davies; 2nd - Maureen and Jimmy Dennett; 5th - Margaret and Norman Musgrove.
