IT'S drinks all round for Blackpool girl Martina Short, winner of the search for the Ultimate Taboo Girl.

The competition invited women with attitude to epitomise the spirit of the alcoholic drink.

Martina, a legal secretary, was selected as the national winner from a line up of six finalists, landing a £4,000 holiday of a lifetime, an introduction to top London model agency Select and the opportunity to feature in a new Taboo advertising campaign.

Judges were impressed with Martina, who describes herself as eccentric and adventurous, saying she was full of life and energy.

While her friends can be found soaking up the sun on the beach, 19-year-old Martina just can't sit still. Recently she has been to Rhodes, Turkey, Andorra and Dublin learning to scuba dive, water ski, paraglide and even bungee jump.

Martina said: "They asked me ten questions on the phone. One was describe yourself in one word and I said unique because I'm sure there's no-one quite like me.

"I was in Chester when the letter from Taboo came. My mum opened it and read it to me over the phone. I nearly fainted there and then.

"I plan to use my prize to take my boyfriend on a round the world trip, starting in Hong Kong, before scuba diving on the Barrier Reef, visiting Sydney, Los Angeles and stopping off in New York for a bit of Christmas shopping.

"I can't believe I'm the new Taboo girl and I'm just enjoying it while it lasts."
