BANDS In The Park, the two-day outdoor music festival which combines brass bands with local pop groups, is set to be held for the second time this summer.
The organisers want bands to send in demo tapes or CDs if they want to play at the concert in Burnley. The event in Queen's Park, organised by Burnley Borough Council, is set to take place on July 31 and August 1.
It's easy to spot that this is a council-organised event.
The press release states: "The organisers are welcoming applications from music-based performing artists - solo or group format."
