AS Bury Times readers are now aware, there was a terrible miscarriage of justice at Bury Church High School last Thursday when the entire GCSE exam year was suspended from school.

As a Year 11 pupil who has enjoyed their time at the school, I was angry and upset at the way the headmaster, Mr Grady, handled the problem of the behaviour of some pupils.

Having spent five great years at the school I was distressed to hear Mr Grady telling us how we were "no longer welcome". I feel that we are all being punished for the stupidity of a number of pupils and I know that I am not alone in thinking this.

I would like to see justice done by Mr Grady allowing Year 11 back into school to collect their Record of Achievement with a bit of pride and without the anger which surrounded this incident.
