HAYDOCK rounded off a great season when they clinched the UGB Lions' sevens title on Monday.
It happened after they had coasted past Thatto Heath in the semi-final and then beat Blackbrook 24-16 in the final.
In the other semi-final Blackbrook needed sudden death extra-time to see off a brave challange from Haresfinch.
Man of the competition was Haydock's Chris Pearson.
