DOCTORS were fighting to save the sight of a nine-year-old Heysham boy shot in the eye with a gat gun this week.
The boy lives on Nelson Grange Heysham was shot at point blank range in Dallam Avenue. It is not established exactly how the accident happened but one report has it that he was holding the gun when it went off.
