LOCAL businesses joined the fight to keep the pound.
Leading North West businessmen and women have launched the campaign to keep the pound and highlight the threat that the Euro posed to jobs and growth in the region.
The launch of the new Business for Sterling North West campaign, led by Mr David Briggs, managing director of Warrington-based Dawsons Music and Dawsons Travel, follows an ICM poll last month which revealed that at least two thirds of North West businesses want to keep the pound.
