PENSIONER Maggie Dewhurst strode out to raise cash in a sponsored walk - and thanked the doctors for her two new hips.
Maggie, 78, was among 300 Lancashire patients who had been fitted with new hip or knee joints, who walked to raise £20,000 towards a national target of more than £1 million. She walked for a mile to raise £60.
