JONATHAN Harvey followed up his impressive performance in the Jennings Ribblesdale League with another undefeated century at the weekend.

The Earby professional led his club to victory over Great Harwood with 112 not out from 114 deliveries.

The top of the table became more interesting as top clubs Ribblesdale and Padiham were both beaten. Baxenden pulled off a surprise victory over Padiham with professional Ronnie Davies taking 5-56 and Dave Usher scored 69 not out in Baxenden's five wicket win.

Read raced to a nine wicket victory after Ribblesdale were left struggling at 126-9. Nick Marsh scored 50 and Gary O'Connor cracked 54 not out for Read.

Cherry Tree professional Naeem Ashraf snapped up seven wickets for just 28 runs as Clitheroe were shot out for 80. The home side took a seven wicket win in just 19 overs. Blackburn Northern took the honours with a superb victory over Barnoldswick. Professional Mark Lomas scored 75 after Neil Weaver had completed an all-round performance of four wickets and 44 with the bat in their four wicket win.

Whalley beat Oswaldtwistle Immanuel with Mark Fallon 62 and Graham Knowles 59 not out. There was no play between Settle and Edenfield.
