However, Burnley are just two points behind with two games in hand. In the Mixed League Burnley A have a significant lead over Sunnyhurst A with Burnley B and Parkwood also in the chasing pack. Blackburn Northern A have opened up a bit of daylight over Sunnyhurst A in the Open League Division One. Burnley A and Feniscowles A are also in contention. Northern B scored a magnificent 5-0 victory over Whalley A to take top spot in Division Two, and in Division Three, Burnley D's maximum points haul took them four points clear at the top.
