MARTIN Meadows will make his British Rally Championship debut this weekend.
The Clitheroe driver has been drafted into the Proton team for this weekend's Scottish Rally, following a serious testing accident by their regular driver, Jenny Davies.
Meadows, who is currently leading the BTRDA Gold Star Championship, will use his own Proton Compact partnered by Davies' co-driver Joanne Lockwood.
"This is what I've been waiting for, and I can't wait to get out there," said Meadows. The two-day, 130-mile rally starts in Dumfries on Friday.
