GRANTS are helping a £225,000 refurbishment programme which will create new jobs.
Work has started on the Mister C petrol station in Helmshore Road, Haslingden, to install new underground fuel tanks and a new car wash.
The scheme is being partly funded by a £5,000 grant from the Haslingden Business Development Fund and a £4,000 green grant under Action for Haslingden's Challenge Fund.
Two new workers are expected to be taken on following the completion of the refurbishment in August.
