AIRTOURS has splashed out again in the holiday market.
The Helmshore-based firm's Scandinavian Leisure Group arm has agreed to buy Trivselresor Holding of Sweden for £7.5m.
Trivsel is the leading tour operator in Scandinavia specialising in packages based on scheduled air transport. Trivsel's operations include Trivsel and Globetrotter in Sweden and Globetrotter in Norway, all leading local brands.
In the year to 30 April 1999 Trivsel carried around 120,000 passengers.
