FUNKY Monkey, mascot of the Co-op's Sports for Schools scheme, joined seven-year-olds Deborah Rhodes and Ashton Molyneaux (pictured) from Baines Endowed County Primary last week to congratulate the busy Blackpool pupils.
The Penrose Avenue school has collected 17,385 vouchers from Co-op stores and can now redeem them for a variety of sporty equipment to supplement their existing PE stock.
This was the highest number of vouchers collected at any school in the Blackpool area.
