CONGRATULATIONS to the Citizen for so boldly featuring on its front page the schooling problems facing 13-year-old St Annes boy Liam Houston and his parents (Citizen, June 17).
There can be no sound justification for him being denied a school place locally and having to travel daily from St Annes to Preston and back.
Do we not have a councillor in this area who cares enough to get actively involved and put some robust common sense into such a disgraceful situation?
