WORK colleagues put on their running shoes to take part in 1999 Blackburn Corporate Challenge.
The 5k race took place at Witton Country Park and was supported by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and East Lancashire Health Authority. Mayor, Coun Salas Kiani, was there to urge competitors on.
Each team of four had to include a woman and somebody aged over 36. All finishers received a medal and T-shirt.
The aim was to promote teamwork, health and fitness.
