STAFF at a hair salon can call themselves a cut above the rest!
Mojo Hair Design has become the first hair salon in East Lancashire to secure the Investors in People standard.
"Staff training has always been a priority for Mojo but we wanted to ensure that we were meeting the highest criteria," said partner John Olander. The Blackburn salon now employs 12 people each of which has an individual training programme. Other local employers to recently achieve the staff training and development standard are Gibfield School, Colne, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council Training Agency, and the Sparrow Hawk Hotel, Burnley.
