SCOTT Sellars, now plying his trade down Huddersfield Town's left wing, believes his old club Blackburn Rovers will still be a promotion force in this season's First Division.

Sellars enjoyed Huddersfield's dramatic 3-2 win last night to leave Rovers with just one point from two games.

But he also had a message for his former club - you'll come good.

"I thought they played well in the first 20 minutes and we probably got the goal against the run of play," he said.

"That knocked a little bit of steam out of them because things will still be a little bit fragile, as I know.

"I have been through it myself and you do get a little bit of a hangover when you come down.

"But I think they will be up there to be honest. They have enough quality once they get their injured players back.

"I am sure they will be back up there.

"With all the quality and class they have, it's just a settling-down period."

Sellars stressed that things can soon change and believes they will for Rovers once they have come to terms with life in Division One.

"How many teams are top of the league after four games and end up near the bottom?

"There is definitely an adjustment to be made. You have a hangover, it's a case of going from trips to Old Trafford and Anfield to Port Vale and places like that."

"It takes a bit of adjustment and it helps if you get a good start.

"Sometimes you can play badly and pick up points but they have a massive squad and I am sure they will sort it out."
