ROAD racing will come to Blackburn on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30, in a brand new promotion when the Brockhall-based Science in Sport racing team will present a full day of competition on a 1.5k circuit at Shadsworth Business Park.
All categories from juniors up to veterans will be catered for and the promotion will include the Lakes and Lancashire Division of the British Cycling Federation Criterium Championships, as well as a youth challenge event as part of the Prudential Insurance-sponsored Impruve programme.
Entries are welcome on the line on the day of the event and further information will be given next week or can be obtained from event organiser Andrew Tabernacle on 01772 882477.
