A WOMAN fought off a sex pest by kneeing him in the groin after she was indecently on her way home near Accrington.
The man approached the woman on a footpath behind a carpet showroom near the junction of Whalley Road and Whinney Hill Lane, Altham West.
He grabbed the woman's shoulder from behind and turned her round. She saw that his trousers were round his ankles and he grabbed her breasts.
She hit him in the groin with her knee and escaped as he fell to the ground. The incident took place at 11.45pm on Saturday,
The man, who was grinning throughout the attack, was 5ft 8ins tall, skinny and had a basin-style haircut with sideburns. His hair was thick, dark and down to his eyebrows. He also looked to have bags under his eyes. He wore a thin zip-up waterproof jacket.
