I WAS totally disappointed by the start to the season made by Blackburn Rovers.

In fact, I think the Rovers should give a rebate to all the season ticket holders for all the suffering they have made them endure. It has been absolutely dreadful .

There has been no game plan, no skill, certainly no spirit at all. For all the money spent by Brian Kidd, we appear no better at all than last season.

I feel sorry for Jack Walker - he must be heartbroken. The Rovers, who pay top money to players, had seen nothing at all in return before last Saturday's excellent win at Norwich.

The supporters pay good money to be entertained - in fact, more than a week's wage to watch so-called stars who are paid several thousand pounds a week.

It really is despicable, when working people have been seeing schoolboy football at £15 a game.

Gone are the days when I couldn't get to Ewood Park soon enough on Saturdays. In the games against Port Vale and Barnsley, I couldn't wait for them to end - together with thousands of others in the WalkerSteel stand.

I really hope and pray that something will be done by the directors to make Ewood Park a place to be proud of once again.
