I WOULD just like to warn readers about the complete shambles of parking in Blackpool.
On some streets you can park all night on double yellow lines, but on others you will get a ticket in a few minutes.
How are you to know which is which?
You will find that if you get a ticket but the car in front will not, neither the one behind - and they will be there all night. It happens!
Last Saturday I parked for 15-20 minutes with my wheels, the police said, on the start of a taxi rank. I had to pay £105.
If you come to Blackpool at any time be very careful and note the parking situation is a complete shambles.
If you have had any similar problems at Blackpool and you think it was unfair, please write to me and I will bring it to the attention of the police complaints department at Preston.
