SCHOOLS wanting to order our NIE local history material "East Lancashire - from the Stone Age to the Space Age" have just a few more days to do so.
To enable schools presently taking September holidays to get in last minute orders, the deadline has been extended to September 24.
The pack, suitable for pupils in KS2 and KS3, comprises a minimum number of 25 copies of our supplement giving a taste of some of the history of our area from pre-historic times to the present day, plus a set of photocopiable worksheets and a daily delivery of at least 25 copies of our newspaper into school, carrying more features and competitions with a history theme.
