My name is Gwen Joyner and I hope Citizen readers can help me in my search for a long lost penpal.
In 1940, my sixth grade teacher in Minnesota, USA, had us write to penpals in Blackpool.
The teacher in Blackpool gave our letters to her students and mine was given to Gwen Joyner of 31 Henry Street, Blackpool.
Since both her first and last names were the same as mine, we continued our correspondence for several years.
I have not heard from her for some time and wonder if any readers may know her whereabouts.
