THE Clarets are in for a "proper cup-tie" in their FA Cup first round clash at Barnet, according to Bees' manager John Still.

Still, whose side are top of Division Three having lost for the first time on Saturday, said: "Burnley are a 'big club'. Barnet are a small club and this is a great opportunity for us. Ally that to the fact that we are playing well and it's got all the ingredients for us of a proper cup-tie.

"The players looked at it and thought it was a good game for them and after getting beaten for the first time on Saturday it gave them a little lift."

Still added: "We've got to be pleased to be at home and from that point of view we couldn't have asked for more.

"But Burnley are going well and it's going to be a tough game."

Clarets boss Stan Ternent was philosophical about the draw as Burnley look to reach the second round of the competition for the first time in three seasons.

He said: "There are people worse off than us and there are people better off than us. I would have liked a home draw but we didn't get one so we will go down there and try our best to win.

"It's important to us. The FA Cup is a special day for all the players and hopefully we will win the match. That's our aim."

The game is scheduled for Saturday, October 30 provided it isn't screened live by Sky.
