REGARDING Rovers memories (Sports Letters, October 5), my best Rovers team would be: Roger Jones, Keith Newton, Bill Eckersley (capt) - (sorry Ronnie), Ronnie Clayton, Colin Hendry, Howard Kendall, Bryan Douglas, Andy McEvoy, Alan Shearer, Eddie Quigley, Bobby Langton.
One sub would be Mike England - he could play anywhere.
System: 2-3-5, of course.
