BUSES were taken off the roads in Hyndburn due to a lightning one-and-a-half hour stoppage by drivers. Around 40 Hyndburn Transport buses were taken off the road at 1pm while 60 drivers attended an emergency meeting over what the TGWU claimed was uneven dispensation of discipline. No school services were affected by the stoppage.
