I AM writing to register my disgust at the sight that greeted staff and pupils returning to St Mark's CE Primary School in Bury after a recent weekend.
Scores of windows had been broken in what can only be described as incredibly selfish and mindless vandalism of the worst kind.
These hooligans - for that is what they are - should hang their heads in shame. Don't they have the decency to realise that all at the school suffer the consequences of such appalling behaviour?
The sooner that promised curfews for offenders are brought in, along with extra police in the community, the better!
DISGUSTED GOVERNOR,
St Mark's CE Primary School.
