THE Royal Navy sailed into a Lytham school with a boat-load of opportunities open to students.

More than 100 sixth form students from King Edward VII and Queen Mary School, Lytham, welcomed the Royal Navy presentation team, under the leadership of Lieutenant Chris Hocking, which provided a multi-media presentation about careers in the Royal Navy.

Andrew Gill, 16, of Nelson Street, Lytham, said: "Whether or not you were thinking about a naval career it was an informative presentation. I think we all enjoyed it."
