SCHOOL leavers from Norden High School in Rishton were sent to the top of the class by head teacher Miss Jenny Halpin. She praised the achievements of former pupils who were presented with their certificates by the new chairman of governors Mr Ian Kitchin. Thirty-six per cent of the year group gained five or more GCSEs at grades A to C.
