OAKGATE continue to carry all before them in Division Two, easily disposing of Transport B 14-4, their fourth successive win to extend their lead at the top.

Transport B's cup was hardly overflowing though, having earlier lost by the same score to their A team who are lying in fourth spot with games in hand.

Broadway C are also on a run, unbeaten in four and climbed into second place with a winning 11-7 visit to Badgercote B. Fearns B, after an uncertain start to the season, seem to be getting into some sort of form, following up a good win last week with another good performance at St Thomas, coming away with a 12-6 win.

In Division Three, leaders Goodshaw's seemingly crushing 15-3 defeat at Waterbarn B was hardly a fair reflection of a match in which they lost five games to 14, but it enabled Wesley Nomads to close to within two points after just getting the better of St Phillip's, having had to survive a strong rally by Saints who came from 8-2 down to within a point of a draw before Nomads last pair clinched a 10-8 win. Phoenix enjoyed a good week with their first win, 11-7 at Edenfield, then held third-placed Badgercote C to a 9-9 draw.
