RECENTLY I went to my car to find an anonymous letter stuck on the windscreen, accusing me of parking without consideration for others.

This anonymous person may not realise that I work shifts seven days a week, that my wife also works irregular shifts, and while we are coming and going in our cars so are other neighbours.

When we arrive home we have to park where we can find a space, and sometimes this is 60 yards or more away from our house. But we don't complain.

To this person I would say that no one has a right to park outside their own home. If you have a valid tax disc, insurance and MOT, you can park wherever you like as long as you are not breaking the law.
